Miryssa Claypoole

Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Miryssa—an artist, a builder, and a visionary with a passion for transforming ideas into handcrafted masterpieces. Whether I’m wielding a paintbrush, a power tool, or a digital stylus, my creativity knows no bounds. I thrive in the world of DIY, upcycling, and sustainable design, finding new life in forgotten materials and crafting something unique from the ordinary. My work is more than just art—it’s a statement of ingenuity, self-sufficiency, and empowerment.

From an early age, I was drawn to making things with my hands. The thrill of problem-solving, the satisfaction of learning a new skill, and the joy of seeing a project come to life have always fueled my creativity. Over time, I expanded my skills beyond crafting and design, diving into multimedia, film, and content creation. As a student in WSU Vancouver’s Digital Technology and Culture program, I’ve honed my ability to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern digital tools, creating compelling visuals, engaging content, and immersive brand experiences.

Beyond my own creations, I’m passionate about helping others bring their visions to life. Whether it’s designing logos, curating social media content, or building a brand, I love being the creative force behind a business’s first impression. I believe that everyone has the potential to create something extraordinary, and I want to be the person who helps make that happen.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that creativity should be accessible, fun, and empowering. Whether I’m mentoring other makers, flipping thrifted treasures, or designing digital experiences, I aim to inspire others to take risks, embrace their creativity, and build with confidence. So, whether you’re here to collaborate, learn, or just find some inspiration, welcome to my world of imagination, passion, and a little bit of mayhem.
